A lifelong genre reader, I grew up reading fantasy, sci-fi & mystery in Puerto Rico, then found Romance in a post-grad school burnout haze! When Iโ€™m not reading, talking about books or knitting Iโ€™m a school librarian.

#RomBkLove Day 3: Meet Cute

IMG_6962

From awkward to adorable, what are the meet cutes that stick with you?

I love it when a hero or heroine have some sort of flirting fail and then have to keep encountering each other.  Julie James's It Happened One Wedding , Emma Barry's Party Lines  are two that I always remember.  In Party Lines, Lydia and Michael, the eventual lovers are political consultants working for rival candidates. Assumptions are made and Michael has to work real hard to live that first encounter down.
