Ivelisse Housman is the daughter of my childhood best-friend.  It has been a joy watching her pitch this story on Twitter to holding her book in my hand. I loved noticing little way Housman included hints of her Puerto Rican  that heritage in a fantasy setting like the way she refers to her mother as Mami.  Housman like Seelie, the main character, is autistic. I loved how Seelie is loved and accepted by her family, while others struggle to understand her differences.
