- Mine to Posses by Nalini Singh (BM/WW, reread Psy-Changeling 4). One of my least favorites because Tallin’s & Clay self-hatred is so visceral. Both have been deeply traumatized. CWs: murder, abduction, stalking, harassment, violence, gore, jealousy, slut-shaming. PT: CSA, toxic parent
- Hostage to Pleasure by Nalini Singh (BW/WM, Re-read Psy-Changelings 5). It is so funny what stuff you completely forget about until a re-read. CWs: toxic sibling relationship, mental illness, ableism, child in danger, guns, bombings, violence Pt: grief, abduction, buried alive
- Branded by Fire by Nalini Singh ( WM/WW, re-read P/C 6).
First all changeling pairing! So much stress about dominance!! But I love how they are so tender with each other sharpness.
CWs: sexism, bombs, medical situations PT: grief, loss of parents.
- The Journal of a Thousand Years by CJ Archer ( WM/WW, magical HR) Hmm. Didn’t quite click all the way for me (too many things getting wrapped up at once). Wish we gotten more of others. CWs: guns, suicide attempt, non-con medical procedure, abduction, sexism, homophobia, PT: war, grief
- Blaze of Memory by Nalini Singh (WW/AM)
I always hate this book till about 70% of the way. I love Katya but could happily run over Dev with a truck.
CWs: suicidal ideation, abduction, mental assault, coercion, murder, hot/cold dynamic. - Bonds of Justice (WW/AM)
I love this book. Sophia is so dark (justice psy cracking & killing predators) and Max won’t let her self-destruct.
CWs: suicidal ideation, explosions, abduction, serial killer, s harassment , PT: Child abuse, torture, abandonment, loss of sibling, toxic parents). - Play of Passion by Nalini Singh (WW/WM, wolves)
Love Drew’s persistence and willingness to apologize and regroup as he courts Indigo.
CWs: grief, sexism, guns, medical procedures, violence PT: parental loss. - Kiss of Snow by Nalini Singh (WW/WM, psy-changelings 10, wolf/psy X, age gap)
So much good stuff happens & 2ndry rom, big moves in the story arc. Loved rereading.
CWs: grief,War, violence. PT: abuse, coercion. Deaths of parents. Suicide
