Really loved how Cash and Carlyle come together, her bravado, his caution & how he then won’t let her shy away and makes sure she knows she matters.

This one made me cry! The big story arc is resolved, Big brother bends!

Going back and reading some of the earlier Helm Harlequins Intrigues with MCs that were supporting characters in the Cold Case books. These categories are just what I need.

Addie and baby Seth need a place to hide and gruff Noah takes them in. The end got sort of frantic muddled but I enjoyed the secretly mushy hero.

Gracie has been Will’s lifeline since she told him of his estranged wife’s death. His search for answers nearly gets them both killed before he acknowledges how much he feels for her.

Full of angst! A dying J seeks to solve one last series of killings that brings her to home of the man she could have loved but betrayed.

22. Murder Crossed her Mind by Stephen Spotswood (late 1940’s detective series with queer women MCs).

This series keeps getting better and better. I love Will & Pentecost’s prickly relationship, the twisty cases & the world building.

Drunken ONS, then the unexpected pregnancy reveal interrupted by a bank robbery/kidnapping! Lots of secrets!

At least 1 mc gets shot per bk!

Someone wants revenge on Ty and he’ll get it from Jen. Loved Jen not playing games & getting them to face up to ten years of secrets. Dad Delaney continues to be POS.

This was one was really twisty and more about stalkers/deep revenge than the feud!

Fabulous to re-read a book about the power of empathy right now. Also blazing hot. So lucky that this was one of my earliest romance reads.

    I always enjoy how Faith surprises Vaughn. Also love how morally dark Nikita is in these early books.
